PAMCo is based on a continuous survey which takes place 12 months of the year, 7 days a week. Interviews are only conducted at randomly selected addresses with randomly selected individuals. IPSOS, our research partner, only interview people aged 15 and up in their own homes, with an average interview lasting 27 minutes.
Participants are asked about their readership of a list of published media and lifestyle & classification questions, as well as their online behaviour and information about themselves.

At the end of the interview participants are asked to join the PAMCo panel around 5,000 of the 35,000 participants are recruited to join our digital panel and install a specifically designed software that passively measures digital consumption of published media across all of their devices. The purpose of this 5,000 panel is to provide single source data on duplication between reading in print and reading on digital platforms.
